Scientistas at Virginia Tech
About
Scientistas at Virginia Tech is a chapter of the Scientista foundation that strives to empower, support, and connect undergraduate and graduate women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM). We offer mentorship, workshop, and networking opportunities. Our goal is to provide beneficial resources that can empower women in STEMM and help them succeed with both their current and future endeavors.
We aim to host workshops on career development, applying to graduate school, networking, and more. We also foster our community by hosting study nights, game nights, book clubs, and more! As a fairly new organization, we are excited to further develop who we are and to incorporate new things based on the needs of our members.
