Mission Statement:

The Alpha Gamma chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu (ΔEM) is dedicated to connecting students of diverse backgrounds who are pursuing careers in the varying health fields by providing a platform for professional development, academic support, and personal growth. Our mission is to prepare our members to navigate the challenges of a profession in the healthcare field through a unique blend of professional programming, community service, and social networking events.

About Us:

The Alpha Gamma chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu was founded in the Spring of 2015 following more than a year of hard work by the Infinity Class. Our fraternity is a strong group of dedicated pre-health students who work hard every day to build upon our organization, all while building upon ourselves. Founded on the principles of loyalty, dedication, friendship, and support, Delta Epsilon Mu is a nationally recognized co-ed professional fraternity that fosters a close-knit community of like-minded individuals passionate about healthcare.

We take pride in our organization's inclusive environment where members can cultivate lasting relationships while advancing their professional goals. Our organization is committed to preparing its members for successful careers in various health professions, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, veterinarian science, pharmacy, genetic counseling, public health, and so much more.

What ΔEM Provides:

• Professional Development: Workshops, guest speaker events, seminars, and networking opportunities with healthcare professionals, including our organization's alumni, provide insight into members' chosen fields.
• Academic Support: Study groups, peer mentoring, professors, and resources help members excel in their coursework and prepare for graduate and professional school after graduation. Mentorship programs and experienced alumni guide students through their academic and professional journey.
• Community Service Opportunities: Volunteering and service projects give back to our local community and support public health initiatives. Members are encouraged to participate in health-related service projects and community health education. 
• Social Activities: A variety of social events, including date parties and big/little pairings, build siblinghood and foster a sense of community among members. Casual get-togethers, intramural sports, and retreats help foster a family-like community in our fraternity.
