First Generation at Virginia Tech

VTf1rst is an organization for individuals who are or were the first in their family to attend a bachelor's degree granting institution.  This organization will serve Undergrads, Grad Students and Faculty who identify as first-generation college students or who are interested in First Generation College student concerns. We hope to accomplish many things as a club, including but not limited to helping all first-generation students with career and professional development, resume building, etiquette training, solving financial issues, obtaining business attire, networking with professionals, mentorships, etc.
